March 19th and 20th.
Lake Fairfield TX.
BYO food, Gas, ect.
It's a state park so we have to be good.
I picture this being alot like the Whitney trip.
If you are under 18 years old please see me about going. Everybody is pretty much taking care of their own way there.
Let me know if you're interested in going and we'll get it going.

So far I've got these people that tell me they are interested.
Robby
Jessi
Jenn
Jake
Jordan
Anybody else? My plan at this point is to head there on Friday, camp out and ride all day Saturday. Weather permitting. If it's snowing...no dice. If it's raining...no dice. If the sun is out. We're going.

Well we went on Saturday and the fisherman called the game warden on us just for being in the cove. He was real cool about it and said there is nothing he can do unless he sees a violation of the 50 foot rule. We were out numbered like crazy. It could get hairy out there with all the fisherman on a weekend _________________ www.wolywake.com

'Tis the season We were dodging fishermen all weekend long as well. Most of them were pretty cool and we gave them a lot of respect in terms of distance. Of course one guy Sunday saw us coming to the line and decided to prep the water for us by S-turning up and down the line, then casting a slab at our rider (and coming at least 100' short). Oh well, eventually he left and we had the line to ourselves _________________ ~ Pray for Rain! ~ |

I hate to hear that. It's too early to be messing with them.
That's the only reason why i'm not considering Lake Fairfield coming up.
But it's the only warm lake that I know of...soooooooo we're going.
Another plus of the cables. No fishermen. _________________ We feel Liquid Force in our hearts?! |

Don't mean to be a downer, but Fairfield weather for Saturday is 29 mph wind, cloudy with 40% chance of rain, morning low near freezing and high of 52. Pretty raw day. _________________ ~ Pray for Rain! ~ |

Yeah, we're going one way or another. Paxton's are bringing a camper and if we're not riding we're going to play guitar and eat some food together. _________________ We feel Liquid Force in our hearts?! |

yup me and david had the arlington poilce pull us over and they said they had two complaints from fishemen that our rollers were pushing them into rocks, i asked "did you ask them to move away from the roacks? dumb loo and typical pop pop response was no you need to give them some courtesy room, "I sadi i was 200ft away almost all day and feel thats enough courtesy", we went back anf forth for a while and i decided we were done anyway. I told them when i caome back i dod not plan on giving anybody more then 200ft, thats rediculous they need that much and have to use common sense on where they want to fish and when , just like we do, its compromise and the fishemen do not ever have enough space!!! God Forbid we make their boats move while they are parked on rocks in aknown skier area at a dam!!
We didnt get tiketed, law is alaw 100ft rule 200ft courtesy is plenty any more then that and im not budging! _________________ wakeboarder4life |
